The House and Senate wrapped up an all-night special session just before 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, after passing the major finance bills that set the state budget for the 2020-21 biennium. The E-12 Education bill passed the House on a vote of 112-13 and the Senate 67-0. The E-12 Education bill has been presented to Gov. Walz and he has indicated he intends to sign all the budget bills.
