Education Resources for Minnesota School Districts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gov. Tim Walz has issued a ‘Stay at Home’ order March 27-April 10.

All Minnesota schools remain closed through March 27 to prepare for distance learning.

Distance learning will commence Monday, March 30-May 4.

AMSD understands the importance of providing its members with factual, concise and timely information on the state response to COVID-19 and how it affects public schools.

We will use this page, along with regular email updates and social media, to provide members up-to-date information about COVID-19, its effect on the state’s public education system, and of the current legislative responses to the pandemic.

GOV. WALZ ORDERS ALL MINNESOTANS ‘STAY HOME’ MARCH 27-APRIL 10

Gov. Tim Walz has ordered all Minnesotans “Stay at Home” March 27-April 10 except for essential services, to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

All SCHOOLS CLOSED;
Distance learning begins march 30-May 4

Gov. Tim Walz ordered all Minnesota schools closed effective March 18-27 to prepare for distance learning.

All distance learning plans are to be posted on school district websites by Friday, March 27.

Executive Order 20-19 orders distance learning shall take place March 30-May 4.
